The course was 2342 km long, starting in Lucerne and ending in Interlaken, and was run
entirely in Switzerland. There were 72 starters, 64 classified finishers and 23 unpenalised
finishers. Four Alpine Cups for teams were awarded to DKW, Adler, Ford and Hanomag.
A 1 km speed test was held at St Moritz during the rally. Results were: 1 Descollas 26.1s 2 Wisdom 26.8s Gutknecht 28.7s Siebert 34.8s
